About Guy Parcher

Guy began his career in Real Estate after a long career working on the ocean, as both a commercial fisherman and a fishing guide. Having lived most of his life on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, Guy brings a tremendous passion and knowledge of the area. Being away from home on the open ocean instilled in him a strong work ethic, based on the values of teamwork, honest communication, and integrity. More than anything, Guy exemplifies what it means to be a great family man and community member, spending countless hours in the pursuit of adventure with his children, and tirelessly volunteering with the Gabriola Lions Club. Guy also has extensive knowledge of construction methods and building types, having built and renovated several homes of his own. These days, Guy is a hockey coach for his son’s team, and can often be found on a street bike or a mountain bike, riding around the roads and trails on Gabriola, or competing in various challenges. Strong values, a dedication to family and community, and an extensive knowledge of Gabriola Real Estate are what Guy brings to his clients, not to mention tips for great places to go salmon and prawn fishing around Gabriola’s shores, and a wonderful ability for telling amazing stories from the open seas!
